What is Pray Creek?
Pray Creek Consulting was launched in 2004 at Pray Creek Farm, just outside of Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the greater Boston area. Pray Creek is named after the colonial Pray family, a ship-builders who settled in Portsmouth in the 1700's.
Susan Arico, founder of Pray Creek Consulting, descends from this family, and her farm and consulting company both honor these shipbuilders. Like them, Pray Creek Consulting focuses on building and launching new vessels as well as refurbishing old ones, enabling them to maintain their course and set sail once again.
Today Pray Creek Consulting operates out of a different port on another coast: Ventura harbor in the Los Angeles area of southern California, where Susan Arico and her family currently reside.
